"We had an absolutely amazing time. All dishes were on point and very exciting. Personally, what I liked the most was the relaxed and chilled atmosphere. It didn't feel like a formal atmosphere, the staff was very nice, friendly and up for a joke or two. And this didn't impede the topclass service you'd expect from a place such as L'Escalier."

"Amazing experience, talking about worth your money! L’escalier is a classic French bistro with a modern twist. The food is amazing, simple yet complex? How? You know the chefs a master in his craft tasting the sauces. They have minimal coverts which the staff use to give you a lot of attention, hospitality in its finest form. An extensive wine list is always nice, but it’s even better when you have a sommelier like the one in l’escalier. You feel the passion, the emotion, the creativity! To the team, well done I highly praise you!"

"I found this French bistro on my Raisin App during my trip to Cologne. Well, what a hidden gem!!! We had the Chef’s Choice 4-course menu with wine pairing and we’re so glad we did, the food and wine were incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavour and paired beautifully. Highly recommend going with the Chef’s Choice. The 2020 Frankinja Grand Vin from Marof in Slovenia was absolutely stunning! A very cozy and unforgettable dining experience. Can’t wait to return!"

"Absolutely TOP restaurant to visit! Especially good for married couples as well as a first date. We found it reasonably priced and service one of the best in city. Would definitely come again and recommend to friends, relatives and tourists. The snake salad I ordered was just right - not too spicy or oily , like it had been served in other places in Italy or France. 5/5"
